This project management course has been designed to follow the official, widely recognized Prince2® standard.
Prince2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a hallmark in project management and its principles are acknowledged as being best practices in project management. In this Prince2® Foundation course you’ll start right at the beginning and look at principles of organising and starting up a project, You’ll work through initiating a project, assessing risk, monitoring progress, managing change right through to closing a project. At the end of the course, you’ll be in the best position possible to go on and sit the Prince2® Foundation and Practitioner examination*

In this PRINCE2® Foundation & Practitioner course, you’ll start by looking at principles of organising and starting up a project, You’ll work through initiating a project, assessing risk, monitoring progress and managing change right through to closing a project. This course is ideal for anyone who might need to be involved in projects in their daily work. Roles that may find this training useful would be Office Manager, Team Leader, Event Manager, Marketing Assistant, PA, Virtual Assistant or anyone working at a Management level.
Career ladder
With enhanced training, you could seek out jobs specifically working as a Project Manager in any number of industries or maybe on a self-employed basis. Alternatively, you could choose a career where you could be assigned varying projects to oversee such as Event Manager or PA.
Examination Guidelines
The PRINCE2® Foundation examination is a closed- book 60-minute 75 multiple choice question paper with 5 questions to be trial and not counted in scores. The pass mark is 50% (35 marks required to pass out of 70 available).
The Practitioner examination is an open- book objective test examination based on a given scenario and lasting 150 minutes. There are 8 questions each worth 10 marks, making a total of 80 marks available. The pass mark is 55% (44 marks required to pass out of 80 available).
Pre-Requisites
There are no formal pre-requisites for this course. However, it is anticipated that delegates will possess knowledge of projects or have experience of working in a project environment. This is to ensure that the intensive nature of the course does not cause delegates to struggle through the course.
